Should I Take My Son To The ER After Chewing On The Leaking Battery?

My 5 year old was chewing on a battery while i was cooking dinner. I looked at the battery and it had no puncture marks but the top is leaking a little. I asked my son if he had a different taste in his mouth and he said he did. I gave him 10oz glass of milk. Should i take him to the ER

Hi,
Do not worry. You have taken the correct measures. If your son appears happy then you do not need to take him to the ER. Signs to look out for would be nausea, vomiting or complaining of stomach pain. However, this would be highly unlikely if he has taken a glass of milk.
