Should I Use Boiled Water To Clean Eyes Inspite Of Accidental Chemical Splash?

My baby, 15 months, got sunscreen in his eyes yesterday and they ran alot but today they are gungy. The left one is worse it is watery and there is a constant build up of bright green eye bogies. Should I clean it with boiled water? Breast milk? or does he need a prescription.

Hi,
Welcome to healthcaremagic.com.
I know that you are very concerned about your child but don’t worry.

Your child definitely needs a prescription. Repeated cleaning of eye can also result in infection in eyes. I suggest you to take the child to a opthalmologist, so that proper examination of eye can be done and eye drops can be given.

I hope this will help you.
Wishing your child good health.
