Should I Use Injections For Knee Problems?

hi i am an 80 year female with knee problems boy do i hurt! have had shots but they dont last yes, they help for a short time. have checked into total knee replacement. have been advised of shots rather than surgery. now i have heard shots that is supposed to make everthing hunky dory. is this possible or have to be repeated? its after 3 am and i am not thinking too well. thank you ruth yerian-----email jayray @interbel.net

I really appreciate your concern, looking to your age I would advise you to manage the knee pain with (NSAID ) 'Non-steroid Anti-Inflammatory Drugs' Only and best would be Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day, and most import is to just increase the tolerance against the pain, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
