Should Ibuprophen Be Taken For Swollen Leg?

I think I somehow Hirt my knee, but I am not sure how I did. My vastus lateris is swollen on my right knee, and so is the rest of my right leg as well as my ankle. If I stand for long periods, then the soles and heels of my feet really begin to hurt on both feet, but worse on my right foot. My right leg has been swollen for about a month now, and I have been taking ibuprophen. It seems like it may be getting better slowly. Should I see a dr.?

Hi,

In my opinion, you have already delayed treatment. Consult your doctor ASAP since this persistent swelling could be a serious condition like deep vein thrombosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Gopal Goel, Orthopaedic Surgeon
