Should Is See A Doctor For Hard, Painful Bump On Back Of Neck?

I have had a history of disc problems in my neck with a lot of pain, but now I noticed very hard, painful pea sized lumps on the back left and right side of my neck.. I ve been taking 1000 mg of Tylenol once a day to take the edge off the pain. do I need to see a doctor?
