Should Keppra Be Used Along With Other Anti Convulsants?

I have been prescribed keppra for seizures. I have had 2 in 6 months due to a tbi when I was 10, I am now 21. I have read dosage should be between 3 and 4 thousand mg. I am only taking 1 thousand. I also read keppra when used is used with other anti convulsants. It is the only one I am taking. opinion please.

Hi,welcome to healthcare magic forum.
Keppra can be used as a monotherapy as well as an adjunct to other anticonvulsants(more common use).It is usually initiated at a dose of 500mg twice daily in addults, and dose increased if needed at 2 weeks intervals. It is not started at full dose.
I hope you will find this information useful.Thank you.
