Should Pills Be Stopped With Extended Bleeding Days?

This is my first pack of linessa 28, I started the day my period was suposed to occur however I did not get it I thought it had something to do with the fact I started the pills, however I got my period a week into my first month of taking the pills. It usually lasts 6 days but its been 7 now and I heard I could end up getting it until I finish my pack, is this true ? Or is my body just trying to adjust ? Should I stop taking my pills ?

Yes it is possible that you might bleed or spot for a longer while if this is your first time on BC.
If the spotting lasts beyond a week or 10 days, it is breakthrough bleeding, and it means that you need stronger hormones.
REport to your health care provider if this is the case.
