Should Pressure Headaches Along With Dizziness And Shortness Of Breath Be Treated As A Medical Emergency?

I keep getting hot spots on my face and pressure headaches. I m always dizzy and out of breath. I m 54 and am being treated for fibromyalgia, asthma, hypothyroidism, depression and high cholesterol. Could this be an emergency situation or does it sound like I can wait for a doctor s appointment? I can t afford the ER, so I won t go unless I have no choice.

Hello,

Headaches, dizziness, shortness of breath possible causes are accelerated hypertension with hypertensive headache, or hypothyroidism with migranous headache or heart'failure or hypoxia headache or anemia with breathless and headache. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet naprosyn twice a day for five days. Use tablet Meclizine twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
