Should The ER Be Visited For Severe Fatigue And Slurred Speech?

My friend is 54 he has already had a heart attack. He has an unresolved blood clot in his heart for over 6 months. Today he is very fatigued, slow thought process, slurred speech, chest pain (ongoing), left arm pain (off and on since his heart attack). Should he go to the hospital?

Hi,

He has to be evaluated at the earliest as it can be a sign of stroke or even a cardiac problem. Get him to the ER and go for an ECG to rule out cardiac causes and also do a CT scan to rule out any stroke or CVA.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
