Should We Worry If A Child Has Mild Cough, Difficulty Breathing With Frost From Mouth During Sleep ?

Hi my 4 year old son had a cold last month that is thi January and since then he is having a mild cough and difficulty in breathing during sleep with frost from the mouth. I have seen a pediatrician and an ent doctor. But no improvement is there. Now again this February 18 th shown to a pediatrician. He gave asthalin expectorant ,ampiclox, calpol and haliborange suspension to be administered for 5 days. But his condition worsened since yesterday. He is having a high fever and severe cough. Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it appears that the drugs didn't suit the infection, and the child as well.
There appears to be the eosinophelia,a change in the blood related to the allergy.
You may need to have a test of differential count of the blood,if eosinofelia is there when ever he gets cough he is to be tested.
He needs to take di ethyl carbamazine citrate, for relief along with other medicines.
Weishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
