Skull Fractured, Recovered From Coma After Car Accident. Reason For Scar Tissues, Cyst In Head?

Hi, I know someone that was in a car accident at the age of 11years and was in a coma for 3 months with a fracture to the skull she recovered and she is now 46 years of age, she was check by a dr saying that she had lots of scar tissue in all the front lobe, and a she also as a cyst in the back of head.. Could the car accident have something to do with the scar tissue and the cyst she got over the years from the accident? Could the scar tissue before canerous?

Hi,

Thank you for posting this query.

The scar tissue in the brain is the result of past head injury. The cyst is also related to that. These would not pose any health hazards or problems in the future. Also, there is no chance of it becoming cancerous.

Only in some cases, fits (seizures) may occur as a result of scar tissue.
