Slimy Brown Clotty Discharge. On The Depo Shot. What Is It?

Hi,
So ive been on the depo shot 4 years now and lately ive been noticing slimy brown/red/white discharge its been going on a lot I can off the shot for a couple of months and neverhad a period but now this has been going on a few weeks its really nasty... I have no idea what it could be but sometimes I even get brownish redish clots also ive never. Experienced this before please help.!!

Hi,
Depot shots contain hormones & avoids ovulation,the cervical mucus is thickened & does not allow sperms to enter in. The menstruation becomes irregular/ unpredicteble.So the mucus discharge + blood clots you are getting is due to the drug action.

When you are off the shot ,you are not protected for family planning. you did not get the periods because ,After withdrawal,it can take 6 to 18 months to get the menstrual cycle regular.
