Small Child, Blood In Stools, Pain On Passing Soft Stools. Cure For Symptoms?
My 2 year old daughter has been having some blood in her stools on and off since she has been born, her doctor said it was do to milk protein , so he changed her milk and it still continued. The blood looks like jelly kind of but there were never any test done to confirm that and sometimes she s passing stool soft stool she screams in pain doesn t happen all the time but when it does it seems very painful.

As your child is having blood in stool in could be due to fiisure in rectum as it is some times painful as you said. So try to give plenty of oral fluids, dietary fibre rich food and stool softeners like lactulose after consulting your Pediatrician.
