Small Child, Frequent Watery Stools, Acidity. On Breast Milk, Nanpro 1. Treatment?

hello, doctor my son who is 4 and half month is passing stools frequety ,somtimes green,watery and later acidic....for around 8-9 times ,,,,and frequenty after breastfeed ...i used to breastfeed and give him once or twice formula ie.., nanpro1 but for 10 days i is only on breatfeeding but he is passing same.....it is almost 20 days...now

Hi there. How did you ascertain that the stools were acidic ? Is there any excoriation which you have observed around the anal opening ? It is important to know this in order to rule out any intolerance to milk feeds. If breast milk is adequate there is no need to give any formula feeds to your baby.
At this stage it would be appropriate to get a stool test done specifically for reducing substances. Also, proper weight recording along with assessment of dehydration is required. Since it is possible only in a hospital setting, do not hesitate to show your baby to a Child Specialist.
