Hello...
In this period most of child frequently suffer from cold, cough, fever etc,(Upper Respiratory Tract Infection)
Most of times this is viral/ allergic and its self limiting. (Some time it will take more than week to recover)
Because of low immunity and low diseases resistant power child suffering from this.

You should get her evaluated once for her complaint to get her examined physically by a pediatrician. And take appropriate medicine

I would advice:
1. Avoid exposure to cold (cold make ciliary activity sluggish and hence the organisms tracking
down the airways cannot be swept out, making a progression to lower respiratory infection)
2. Keep your child warm (Wrapping with cotton cloth )
3. Stem inhalation with precaution.(Plain water do not add any decongestant like vicks etc)
4. Try to increase his immune system with proper and regular diet.
5. Maintain hygiene.
6. Don't give more medicine
7. If she is not recover within 5 to 6 days you can consult again to your doctor.

Thanks
I wish your baby recover soon.
Regards , Dr. Sagar Mhatre

Hi,
All these medicines should be given only after prescribed by registered practitioner because all these have side affects. Most of the time cough cold fever in child is due to common cold caused by viruses. There is not much role of these medicines in these cases.
You can try these
1. Steam inhalation
2. nasal drops
3. Paracetamol for pain and fever
4. Plenty of fluids
You should watch for these danger signs and should consult pediatrician immediately if any of these present
1. Difficult breathing, distress
2. High grade fever
3. Decrease oral intake
RECOFAST PLUS:is decongestant and antiallergic but have side affect of drowsiness and increase heart beat if not used with caution.
ELEDYL jr: is bronchodilator and cough expectorant but have side affect like tremors, increase heart rate if not used with caution.
AZITUS is antibiotic used when bacterial infection suspected.
Wishing good health for your baby.
