Small Child, Suffering From Cold, Cough. Taken Azilide, Adcef. Permanent Cure?
my 1.2 year old daughter is suffering from cold and cough for over 7 weaks. first we follow homeopathy .but she has no changes.so we follow alopathy. at first doctor gave an anti cold drops(colfin drops) for 3 days . then he started an antibiotic clavum bid for 5 days . she has no changes .so next time he started azilide 100 syp for 5 days for one times daily.after that he gave her adcef 125 for 5ml bid for 7 days .after the course she is suffering from cold and cough
Hello I have gone through your complaints. Your child is having continuously viral infection. If the cold and cough are not associated with fever then there is no need to worry about. As you have used adequately anti cold preparations and antibiotics, then next best step what you can take is a flu vaccine. The most common cause for cold is influenza virus. A vaxigrip vaccine is available against influenza. A pediatric dose of 0.25ml will be given. Proper hygienic condition is to be maintained. The other uncommon thing which has to be ruled out is any aspiration of foreign body. Take the opinion of your doctor.
