Small Red Bumps On Inner Arm, Spread To Other Parts. Is It A Reaction?
hey there, I'm a 23 year old male in Alabama I had some small red bumps on my inner arm when I woke up today, about 13 hours ago. Since, they have spread to my upper arms, shoulders, palms, neck, chest, face, and thighs. I also have a few mosquito(?) bites I have not changed anything in my wash/laundry regiment or anything and was wondering if it could still be a reaction or anything else that i likely is.
It seems that you are having lichen urticatus also known as papular urticaria. It is hypersentive reaction to insect bite. You may have itchy erythematous papular eruptions.
Take steroids in tappering dose for 4 weeks. Take antihistaminics till you feel better. Calmine lotion should be applied on lesions. Avoid soap bath, you can use dettol liquid. Avoid stress and worries.
It is benign condition. And takes 2 to 4 weeks to clear.. However , it may relaps. You can prevent it by keeping away yourself from insects.
I hope you will be benefitted.
Regards.
