Soft Indentation In Upper Right Side Of Buttocks Hurting. What Could It Be ?

My daughter who is four has a nickel sized soft indention in upper right side of her buttocks. It has grown in size in the last month and the skin is whiter than the skin surrounding it. She has just recently conplained it hurts when touching. I took hee to a local dr who said ahe honestly doesnt know but it seems as if the tissue has definitely softened. She said she would consult with another dr and see about ordering an ultrasound or an MRI. What could this be?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
If the lesion is superficial then the ultra sound or MRI will not work here moreover for the skin lesion these tests are very unusual If I would be her Doctor then I would definitely treated this lesion on tentative basis with the local steroid containing cream and this the rule that most of the skin lesion being treated with the steroids only so nothing to loose in giving trial, I think this will come around with steroid preparation have nice day.
