Solid White Particles Seen In Urine. Prescribed Antibiotics For Infection, Problem Persisted. Permanent Solution?

I pass solid white particles in my urine . I ve had this for a while and went to a urologist . He had samples from urine samples I gave hime, and he put me on anti biotics for an infection however the problem still prosisted. He did an Xray and even scoped my urithra into my bladder and found nothing. The problem comes and goes and seems to be a function of how much water I drink

Urologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have noticed small white particles in your urine and have been treated with antibiotic .

You have been under treatment of Urologist who has carried out almost all necessary investigations and fcould not fine any obvious reason for your problem.

The white particles are most likely dis- sqamated epithelial lining of bladder mucosa as a result of chronic infection of the bladder.

Please get your urine culture done to trace the organisms causing this infection and take the appropiate antibiotic as per culture report.
Ensure to drink more water to keep your urine dilute.
Thanks and Regards.

Pathologist and Microbiologist Dr. Vandana Khare's  Response
Hi!
Welcome to HCM!
you have got yourself examined by a urologist and nothing has been detected in X-ray,cystoscopy and you already had a course of antibiotics.
my advice is to get a routine urine microscopy and culture senstivity to be repeated again to find out if there has been any improvement in the pus cells and bacteria present in urine.
In one of my patient similar history was there and when we examined the particles they were just shedded epithelial cells with bacteria.Have plenty of water .take care!
