Solution For Recurring High Fever In Child Even After Medication Along With Numbness In Fingers

8 year old has 101.01 - 102.6 fever for two days. Been giving her fever reducer every 6-8 hours to bring it down but it keeps coming back. She keeps saying her fingers are numb and hot. What should I do? She doesn t feel bad at all but has a runny nose and cough.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Paracetamol 15 mg/kg body weight every 4-6 hours will reduce fever.
In addition you give tepid sponging for prompt relief.
You may use any anti cold syrup and saline nasal drops for relief of running nose and cough.
