Sore Jaw Joint, Difficulty To Swallow After Getting Cartalidge Pierced. Any Thoughts?

Had my cartalidge pierced about a month ago. I had been on top of cleaning it but it has increasingly gotten more sore. Now my jaw joint on the respective side as piecing is sore and hard to chew...is the jaw pain associated with an infected piercing?

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having infection at piercing site causing enlarged and painful lymph nodes of sub mandibular glands giving rise this problem.
Go for one antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course for 3-5 days.
Apply antibiotic cream at the site after proper cleaning.
