Sore Throat On One Side, Swollen And Hard Glands With A Red Raw Hole . What Could It Be?

i have an extremely sore throat , only on one side, my gland is huge and very hard. my throat is very red i thought i could see ulcers on the back a few days ago, they have gone but i can now see a very red raw almost hole just down the left side, there is no white around it like the ulcers so i m not sure what it is. Im not tired, i feel fine in all other ways its just that one side of my throat.

Hi,
From history itseems that you might be having acute tonsillitis of one side giving rise this problem.
Go for one course of antibiotic like Azithromicin for 3-5 days.
Do antiseptic gargles.
Avoid cold drinks, chillies and junk food.
Ok and take care.
