Sore Throat, Painful. Hurts To Swallow Saliva. Common Symptom Of Infection?
Hello, I have had a sore throat for a few days now, the pain started on the right side of my throat just above my adams apple where I believe lymph nodes are located. The pain migrated to left side of my throat after a day or two. The strange thing is I've never encountered a sore throat that only hurts when swallowing saliva and nothing else. Nothing else hurts when swallowing, not food (spicy, salty cold, hot,) or drink. Is this common of any certain infections? I may not have enough info for you without being in person but I figured I would try.
sometimes there are mild allergic sinuses in which mucus falls in back of throat causing this or there is reflux oesophagitis leading to pain in throat you have to diagnose and treat cause for this episode take antiallergic tab fexofenadine 120 mg bd for 7-10 days antacid gel tds after meals and apply triamsolone mouth paint locally in mouth antiseptic mouth wash gargles at night before sleep take lot of warm water
