Sore Throat, Red Spots On Back Of Tongue, Vaginal Itching, Discharge. Had Unprotected Sex. Advice?
I have had a sore throat for a couple weeks (low grade). I just noticed large red spots on the back of my tongue with bad breath and a white coating (I regularly scrape my tongue when brushing and it developed since this morning). I also woke up very tired despite going to bed around 11:15 (woke up around 7:30). I do smoke cigarettes, but I'm worried about the possibility of an std since the sore throat developed not long after unprotected sex and I'm also experiencing itching in my vaginal area, along with extra discharge and a fishy smell.

hi.. you have acute pharyngitis.. see yyour ENT surgeon for the diagnosis and treatment .. do salt water gargling and steam inhalation.. along with that you need to take antibiotics and analgesics.. for vaginal itching after unprotected intercourse, could be candidiasis/trichomonas infection.. see your gynaecologist for the examination and investigation, and treatment... both the sexual partners should be treated simultaneouly.. all the very best..
