Soreness, Swelling, Tenderness In Ankle After Injury. Any Ideas?

HI...I hurt my right foot and don't know how, in the right ankle area. It is sore, swollen and a little tender. I free it up by walking some but it locks up and is hard to get going again when I sit down at my desk. It almost feels like it's sprained but I don't recall the way I hurt it...any ideas? Thanks for taking my question...TIM

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

Some injuries can occur due to improper ankle movement and might go unnoticed. At times there can be chronic injury to ligaments and tendons and you will experience pain only on certain movements.

Please consult an orthopedician and get examined.

Hope this helps
