Spotting. Ultrasound Done. Suggestions?
my L.M.P. 28th march and today i had some spotting so i had done ultrasound and the report was as under :
Uterus is bulky, gravid with single fundic gestational sac of mean diameter of 8.5 mm with sorrounding decidual reaction an creneated margins. foetal poles and cardiac pulsations are not seen. Collapsed gestational sac seen.
Internal OS is closed. Cervical length iss 3.2 cms.
Both ovaries are normal is size and echo texture.
No free fluid in the pouch of douglas.

Hi,
As per the report , it seems that there is no heart beat in foetus and also it is collapsed and contracted.
The possibility of dead foetus is there and there is likely chances that you are having miscarriage or abortion.
You should now consult the doctor/obstetrician for the same and manage at the earliest.
