Spotting. Ultrasound Showed No Heartbeat. Why Was No Tissue Passed?
Hi I'm interested in knowing why I spotted twice but not pass the tissue, fetus, if there was no heartbeat at my first ultrasound I'm at 8 weeks, some days is what it showed on my ultrasound but was told there was no heartbeat, so when I go back to have another ultrasound to check and confirm I did have a miscarriage but I'm still carrying what has formed til no heartbeat. I'm confused but have already accepted the fact that there will be no baby but worried why I didn't pass and I'm wondering about this DNC procedure if that is what I will need because this will be my first experience with this miscarriage
Some times dead fetus is retained in the uterine cavity and the process of expulsion does not start itself. In that case, we need to remove it with the help of medicines and D & C to get rid of wastes of fetus in the uterine cavity to avoid complications like infection.
