Spotting Red Blood, Finished Taking Medicine For Bladder Infections. Have Had Hemorrhoid Operations. Related?

I am spotting red blood and cannot tell if it is from the rectum or the vagina? I have been careful to try and detect the source. I just finished the third round of meds for bladder infections since April. I have had 2 hemorrhoid operations in 1980 and 81. What kind of doctor should I see? I like my gynecologist to examine me. Is this the best place to start?
Also it has been 5 years since a colonoscopy. Please recommend a doctor in Anchorage, Alaska?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Since blood is fresh and you were already operated for hemorrhoids , so in my opinion you should consult a surgeon and get his opinion for hemorrhoid & get in colonoscopy for any disease in rectum or colon.
Good luck.
