Squishy Bump On Head After Fall And Hitting Forehead On Stair. Normal?

My daughter fell and hit her forehead on the stair it swelled up and she cried. I called the doctor and they said to monitor her and with it being her bet time and her being tired i could let her sleep but to wake her up in 2 hours and then again in 4. Wev been putting ice onit and she is asleep now butvth bump feels squishy now is that normal?

Hi, It is quite normal to get a bump after a fall. What you say is called hematoma due to collection of blood under the skin due to the fall. If this is not too big and if she do not have any other symptoms like dizziness, black eyes or pain.. no need to worry. The swelling slowly disappears in few days.
