Started Exercising After Childbirth. Will It Affect Periods?

I've started drinking a pre workout drink evey morn n going for walks n to the gym to help loose weight , I'm 10'weeks post partum n hav had my 1st period 36 days ago(stopped pp bleeding at 3 weeks pp) , mine are normaly pretty clockwork 28 days ' , I'm not breastfeeding(only bf for 1 week) n hav not had sex yet, would the change of routine in exercising everyday affect my period as I should of got one a week ago

A mild to moderate exercise regimen does not affect the periods- timing and duration. The heavy exercise can cause a delay in the periods or an irregularity due to hormonal changes in the body.
