hi,

yes, if it's lumber muscle pain due to overstrech, first thing to do is rest to the part. pl. stop exersizing for few days, avoid bending in routine too.
back is an important part of body which has been already neglected .Pl. don't take it lightly.
The lumber pain can also be due to-lumber spondilitis, kidney infections, inflammatory lesion in lower abdomen, joint pain, weakness of bone etc.
All these things are to be excluded for comming to a definate cause of the problem. a range of investigations along with expert advice is needed for that.
by the time muscle relaxent like Methocarbamol +ibuprofen combination after food can be tried, apart from rest.
take care.
thank you.

try muscle relaxent like methocarbamol +ibuprophen combination
