Stinging Sensation From Armpit, Swelling, Red Line Running Down. Any Ideas?

Hi
On the inside of my right arm when I lift it up I get a stinging sensation from my armpit to the elbow and when I touch the area which started as a red line running down to my elbow it stings really badly. I have a little swelling in the area and now the area has bruised quite a lot. The red line is now running from my elbow down to the top of my hand which also stings a lot when touched and is slightly swollen, I know this will also bruise quite a lot within the next few days.
Can you please give me some idea what's happening here.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, it appears to be an ascending infection from an infection below the elbow, an injury, or a boil etc. Or it may be descending like an infection of the filariasis.
So i advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
