Stomach Ache With Belching And Bloating. Taking Rekool And Rifagut For Suspected IBS. Is The Diagnosis Correct?
Hi, My name is Madhav. I am from India, Hyderabad. I am suffering from stomach ache..right side below the ribs with bloating, belchings and gas. Infact, I am facing this problem from last 7 to 8 years (On-off). I have undergone many diagnostics on advice of my doctor viz,. Abdomen Scanning, Upper G I Endoscopy, colonoscopy. All the reports are normal. My doctor finally said that I am suffering from IBS and prescribed the Medicines i.e., 1. Rekool - LD 2. Rifagut-400mg for two months. Can you look into this and advice me for betterment....of my healh..
Symptoms you have mention here are suggestive of IBS. But as there is no findings of it in your investigations, you have to continue the prescribed medication for prescribed time. IBS has no cure and has symptomatic treatment only. Take high fiber diet, Avoid milk if lactose intolerant. At least 30 minutes of strenuous exercise 5 times a week is recommended.
