Stomach Aches, Passing Stools Covered With Mucus. Generally Have Less Bowel Movements. Concerned

Hello,
I am a 17 year old female. Generally I don't make bowel movements very often. Maybe twice a week if I'm lucky. But recently, for three days now, I've had pretty bad stomach aches that lead to odd bowel movements. I say this because my stool almost looks moldy and as if it's covered in mucus. I have started drinking more water recently if that's a factor. Other than that all I can think is I ate something my stomach doesn't agree with. I'm curious if I need to be concerned. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Monica

Gastroenterologist 's  Response
hi
Dear Monica,I read carefully all your concerns and I am so sorry for your situation.
If I were your treating doctor I would recommend to continue taking plenty of water and start treatment with tasectan and hydramine,

It may be gastroenteritis so it with take a few days.

If the diarrhea still persist you should do other exam like fecal analysis (coproculture, candida, ova/parasite), and consult gastroenterologist.

Wish you health
