Stomach, Back Pain, Light Brown Discharge, Abortion, Bleeding. On Depo Injection. Incomplete Abortion?
I had a abortion 5 weeks ago and was immediately put on the Depo injection , after the bleeding from my abortion stopped, it then started a few days later lasting for a week. But I then began to notice a light brown discharge that I still find now I ve stopped bleeding, I have pain on my stomach and both sides that travels to my lower back, and a pregnancy test is positive (with faded line) I m just so confused.
Your symptoms could be side effects of depo injection. As it can cause pain abdomen, menstrual irregularities, brown discharge etc.
After abortion it will take sometime for the beta HCG levels to become zero.
That time will depend on pre abortion beta HCG levels.
So your positive pregnancy test could be because of persisting levels of beta HCG, which can come to zero soon.
Take care.
