Stomach Inflation After Eating Spicy Food Post Spleen Removal. Is This A Common Occurrence?
Had my spleen removed 03/13/12. Went to San Antonio the 03/22/12 on my last day there (03/27/12) I blew up like a balloon. Right from the airport to the hospital. Prednozone pills and 3 days of looking like a cartoon character. I had allot of mexican food while I was there. Can t pinpoint what I ate that would have caused it. I stay away from Spicy foods. Is this a common occurance?

you might have had a paralytic ileus but it is quite rare 2 weeks after a procedure.Anyway good to know that you got better
