Stomach Pain, Back Pain. Had Early Menopause

Hi. I am a 55 year old women who went through an early menopause in her 40`s. I had a fall about 3 weeks ago and hurt my back. It may be a coincidence but I have only noticed it that since this time I have been experiencing constant period like pains in my stomach . my doctor has examined me and says my stomach seems fine but I am still concerned at the amount of pain I am suffering. It really does feel as if I am about to start my period.

hello,
Thanks for your query,

You have attained premature menopause.
It is less likely that you regain your menstrual cycle at a age of 55 after attaining menopause.
Pain in abdomen may be due to some gastrointestinal problem.
Refer to gastroenterologist and get a scopy done for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Regards,
Dr Nilofer
