for this you have been given the drugs probably for the termination of pregnancy..
it will lead to bleeding..
you need to check the serum HCG levels, if it falling over the period of time, to know the confirmation of sucess of the treatment..

Ectopic pregnancy is a condition where the baby is implanted outside the normal uterine cavity, most commonly in the uterine tubes and sometimes in ovaries etc.
It is a life threatening condition and has to be taken care of immediately because with advancing pregnancy, the tubes may rupture and result in bleeding and collection of blood in abdominal cavity. In early stages it can be dealt with medicines but ones ruptured, as to be operated upon.
In your case, it is not clear where is the ectopic, what is the size and whether it has ruptured and the amount of abdominal bleed. some amount of bleeding do occur with tubal abortions also but can be dealt with medicines on OPD basis.
However, apart from tubal abortion, any other ectopic, even if fit for medical management, has to be dealt in hospital. you should be admitted and has to be under supervision of doctor till your symptoms have resolved. It cannot be managed at home.
