Stomach Pain, Fatigue And Shortness Of Breath For Short Period After Taking Cephalexin. History Of Getting Of IV Therapy For Staff Infection. Suggest

I am currently taking Cephalexin. 500Mg 3 times daily after getting off IV therapy (28 days) for a staff infection. my question is that about 30-45 mins. after I take it I experience stomach pains and also A period of fatigue with shortness of breath. I don't wish to go back to the hospital, but I think I should stop taking it. It's been a month that I've been taking it. It seems to be a patern . Also it's a Sunday and I don't know who to ask. That's my Question.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
The main side effects of cefalaxin ( cephakaxin ) are eiosinophilia, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, anaphylatic reaction (mild degree).
In your case all symptoms are due to cefalaxine , so these are mild degree , don't worry.
Take a pantoprazole + domperidone tablet along cephalaxine and you will not feel any of these symptoms.
As drug is necessary , so keep it regular till your doctor recommended for it.
