All blocked and labeled as A1. B. In formalin labeled stomach,body are four irregular fragments of tan/pink soft tissue measuring up to 0.1 cm in greatest dimension. All blocked and labeled as B1. Liver has tiny single hepatic hemangioma , likely congenital? Cyst in right kidney None of these should cause stomach pain, nauseau, flank pain and back pain?
lymphoma of the gastrointestinal tract can present with above symptoms. may also be associated with B symptoms like fever, night sweats and weight loss. the lesions are seen in different parts of the gastrointestinal tract which may be suggestive of systemic disease like lymphoma. rarely it can involve the spine and casuse back pain. so these lesions should be biopsied with histopathology and immunohistochemistry to come to a final diagnosis. cysts in the liver and kidney may be benign!
