Stomach Pain, Shortness Of Breath And Frequent Urination After A Fall. MRI, Blood Test And Colonoscopy Reports Normal

My dad fell at work about 7 months ago and shortly after that he starting complaint about severe stomach pain, so he went to the doctor (kaiser) and so far they have found nothing to be the cause of the pain, he has had an ultrasound , mri , bloodwork, and a colonoscopy . Also after walking a short distance he gets shortness of breath and when he urinates he thinks he s done and a minute later he still needs to go again.

Thanks for writing in.
I suppose your dad is an elderly gentleman who had a fall 7 months back.
In elderly men, the prostate gland often enlarges and creates a sensation of incomplete emptying of the bladder. It is located at the base of urinary bladder and when enlagred in size, causes obstruction to the outflow of urine.
In such patiens, MRI, colonoscopy and rest of ultrasound findings can be normal.

I suggest you get your dad to take another ultrasound keeing in mind the evaluation of prostate gland. Also pre void and post void urine volume is to be assessed.
You can consult an urologist for further diagnosis and medication.
