Stool Smells Like Burnt Rubber In Irritable Bowel Syndrome Patient. Concerned?

I've had stomach problems for nearly 2 years now. I've gotten the umbrella diagnosis of irritable bowel syndrome and my doctors have essentially given up the search. I'm on prilosec and an anti nausea medication. Recently I've been having soft stool that smells of burnt rubber, it's sometimes redish but normal otherwise, should I be concerned?
