Stuffed Nose, Terrible Post Nasal Drip, Black Congestion In Nose. Cure For Symptoms?
I have what I believe is a sinus infection for the past two months some days I feel it is clearing up and then the next day it is back... I do not have headaches, just a stuffed nose and terrible post nasal drip. I have been using a sinus wash for the past week which helps for a couple of hours, but then the congestion in my nose is back. The stuffiness is only on the right side.Thank you.
There are various causes for a stuffy nose; some of them include allergic rhinitis, other infective rhinitis, nasal polyps, sinusitis, even a hypertrophied nasal turbinates etc. It is important to know the exact cause so that it can be treated properly - otherwise you could be treating with wrong medications.
Try fixing an appointment with your local doctor - meanwhile use nasal drops such as Otrivin (Xylometazoline) for only five days, twice daily, three drops during each application; do not use any further.
