Sudden Hearing Loss, Not Responded To Steriod Medication Or Shots, Pain In Hand Radiating To Shoulder. Is Related To Pinched Nerve?

I have two separate issues occuring. I had a sudden hearing loss about 6 weeks ago which has not responded to steriod medication or shots. At the same time, I ve had pain in my hand radiating up to my shoulder (or vice versa--not sure). I m wondering if the two things could be related, i.e. due to a pinched nerve. Thank you.
