Sudden Urge To Urinate, Sensitive Clitoris, Light Pink Blood

Hi just about half an hour ago, i keep having the sudden urge to pee with a sensitive clitoris. It's a tingling feeling like I've read online. I did notice a light pink blood in my pee on the toilet paper. It's not alot of pee by the way, I have the urge to pee but its just a few drops that comes out. In the last 30 mins I've had this happen 6 or more times. Help?

Hi ! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

From your history, it seems that either you have traumatized your genitalia (of which there is nothing in the history, and so less likely), or have contacted a urinary tract infection with the possibility of a small urinary stone blocking the urethra.

If I were your treating doctor, I would have advised you for a urine routine/microscopic/culture and sensitivity test and an ultrasound of the kidney, ureter and bladder. Till the reporting of these tests, I would advise you for plenty of liquids and an alkaliser solution. I would start appropriate antibiotics on the report of culture/sensitivity of the urine.

In case the ultrasound shows calculi or any other pathology, management would change accordingly. At the same time, I would advise you for a gynaecological check up to rule out any pelvic infection.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic for clearing doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
