Sudden Weight Loss, Increase In Eye Power. Have Diabetes Type 1. Advised Insulin Injection. Permanent Cure?
Hi, I am 29years old man. Suddenly, I had issue like weight loss , suddenly increase spec no. , etc.., In the medical report it shows, i am suffering from Sugar Type 1. Doctor advise me to have insuline injection on daily basis to control my sugar. Is there any permanent cure available. Or atleast i am very fade up with daily insuline injections . Kindly, advice on the same. Thanks.

Hello,
People with type 1 diabetes must take insulin, which is the hormone they lack.You will have to take injectable insulin daily.If you find it cumbersome or tough to take injection insulin,you can use an insulin pump,a device worn outside the body that pumps insulin through a flexible tube to a small needle inserted under the skin. The pump can be set to give small amounts of short-acting insulin continuously through the day and additional doses before meals.However this is a very expensive proposition.

Exercising regularly and maintaining a healthy weight
Eating healthy foods
Monitoring blood sugar
The only oral medication that may help a type 1 diabetic is Metformin, as it improves insulin sensitivity, regulates the liver's output of glucose and slows absorption of glucose.
At the moment there is no permanent cure of diabetes type 1.

Sudden weight loss and refractive changes may point to the diagnosis of Diabetes and you are detected to have Type I,in this diabetes you have lack of Insulin so you have to take injections of Insulin regularly.
You must understand that to maintain blood sugar and maintain good diet and exercise is of immense importance to prevent short term and long term complication.
Please consult your Endocrinologist about treatment option,like Insulin infusion pump, and if you are very serious about permanent cure possibility of pancreatic islet transplant which is still not widely available and still not full proof.
In the mean time injection of insulin with proper dose is the answer.
