Dear ma'm
The chances of stroke or clot are definitely increased on taking combined pills, however overall risk in a combined population is not very high. 15 women out of 1 lac will develop a clot in 1 year usage of this drug.
However this data can not be applied to individual patient. It only gives you an estimate of risk.
You must be careful with this pill if you have diabetes, high BP, overweight (the last two you do not have), history of transient stroke, heart attack, angina, heart rhythm disorder, migraine, smoking & high cholesterol. Must quit smoking before you start this drug.
hope this helps.
sincerely
