Suffer From Axilla Swelling. Had Guided Needle Biopsy. Ultrasound Scheduled. What Are The Possibilities?
I am a 66 year old female with right axilla swelling. I had a guided needle biopsy i n 2009, and to my knowledge nothing needing attention was revealed. The swelling never went away. In fact, it seems to have increased recently. I
am scheduled for an ulrasound next week. Just wondering as to what possibilities I might expect.

thank you for consulting HCM.In my view it may be a lipoma which is mostly painless unless it supress some nerves under it.It must be removed surgically.It may also be a lymphnode,but usually lymphnode enlargement will occur due to infection and in your case its been years so we can exclude it.Chances of neoplastic lesion may also be see in your case.Thank you.
