Suffer From Migraines. What Is The Cause?

I had a major migraine on Thursday. Then a headache that has lasted ever since. I went to the doctor and he said it wasn't my sinuses so he gave me a prescription for it. I still have the head ace today. It mostly bothers me when I move in any way. If I'm lying down. I'm okay as long as I don't make any sudden moves. Ive always had migraines but no one can figure out what causes them. Should I be worried?

Hello,
welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Headache can be caused by several medical conditions. Sinusitis can also lead to headache, like in your case, even in cases with past history of migraine.

Common causes for headache:
-infection in ear, nose or throat
-Stress and anxiety
-High blood pressure
-Eye problem
-Migraine
-Neurological problem

In most of the cases of migraine, cause is not clear. Before diagnosing migraine, it is better to get yourself evaluated by general physician to rule out other causes of headache and then seek consultation according to their recommendation.

Wishing you good health and all the best.

Regards,
Dr Ashish Kumar Mittal
