Hi, may I answer your health queries? Please type your query here... Hi I am Jeyaraman, I am having phisher so iam taking medicines for 7 months for constipation. The medicine name is CREMALAX. Now my left side stoamch is paining, is this might be reason of pain?

Hello sir,

Thanks for contacting HCM.

You are diagnosed "Anal fissure" which is nothing but tear in the lower anal canal.

Don't worry, the main reason usually is constipation. The Doctor has rightly prescribed the medicine, continue the same.

But how is your bowel movement now?

Can you revert back to us about the severity of the pain as rarely anal fissure can have some other oetiology like inflammatory bowel disease.

As a home remedy, you can go for what is called sitz bath which is nothing but sitting in a tub with luke warm water for few minutes twice a day.
